From October 27 to 31, 2025, the 5th FRMCS (Future Railway Mobile Communication System) Plugtests (Interoperability Testing) was held at the headquarters of the International Union of Railways (UIC) in Paris, France.

SED Wireless took part in the Plugtests with its MCX server, MCX client, FRMCS handheld terminals, FRMCS onboard gateway, and FRMCS trackside gateway, making it one of the suppliers with the most comprehensive FRMCS product line at the event. During the Plugtests, successfully completed interoperability testing of the full range of FRMCS products with four 5G network suppliers, as well as multiple MCX AS, MCX clients, Cab Radio, dispatch consoles, and other devices. Through product introductions and demonstrations, SED Wireless also gained widespread attention and recognition from UIC and representatives of railway operators. The successful completion of these tests signifies that SED Wireless's FRMCS product line has reached international advanced levels in compliance with both 3GPP and FRMCS standards.
