SED Wireless once again won the exclusive bid for the core business of Deutsch Bahn

In the recently concluded railway shunting handheld OPS tender project of DB Cargo- German cargo Freight Company, Shenzhen SED Wireless Communication Technology Co., Ltd. (referred to as SED Wireless) once again with leading technology, reasonable price, quality service, win the long term exclusive supplier contracts.

DB Cargo is a large freight company holding by Deutsch Bahn, with subsidiaries located in Germany, Italy, Netherlands, UK, Poland, Switzerland, Romania and the Baltic Sea and other countries, in business cooperation with Russian railway and China Railway; it is the “Continental Bridge” to link Europe and China, and become an important participating company in the development of "One Belt One Road”. In October 2016, DB Cargo signed an agreement with the Hefei City Government of China to commence operation direct railway line between Hefei and Hamburg.

Railway shunting handheld OPS is mainly used in the railway marshalling station. The working environment is complex; the security and shunting personnel personal safety requirements are extremely high. The Machen marshalling station near Hamburg is the largest fully automated marshalling station in Europe. Covering an area of 280 hectares, 7,000 meters long and 700 meters wide, the total length of the line is 300km. There are 6 signal buildings, 825 turnouts. As a two-way marshalling station, there are two humps and two marshalling yards, and the daily marshalling capacity reaches 11000 containers. SED wireless OPS shunting device and train communication system, in the marshalling field for a year of 24 hours per day of continuous work of the harsh test, and ultimately to high-quality, high availability passed the DB product certification.
